Located in the heart of Keswick on Derwentwater, Strada Italian Bistro was established in 2003 as a sister restaurant to the popular Salsa Mexican Bistro, Keswick. It began trading as Lemon & Lime restaurant, serving a range of international dishes, rebranding as Strada Italian Bistro in 2007.
In 2006 we opened the third restaurant, Salsa Mexican Bistro, Penrith,where it soon became a firm favorite among the locals. The small chain of bistros is owned and run by local lads, Andy & Dave Nellist and Steve Stables.
Strada Italian Bistro has been going from strength to strength over the last few years now offering many of our dishes to takeaway.
We opened the Deli in Autumn 2010, stocking fine Italian produce including chocolate, pasta, oils and sauces. Everything we sell has been thoroughly tested for quality by the team!
The Kitchen is now run by local lad Aaron Thompson, who started working for the company at the tender age of 14! Aaron and his team have worked hard to refine and improve the menu and have introduced some truely inspiring Weekly Specials which are going down a treat!
We are able to accommodate groups for up to 40 people or cosy dinners for 2!
